Many bands tend to worsen as they obtain more fame: Their lyrics get shallow, their sound basic. The Maine, in contrast, has ripened with age. This album has more profound lyrics than most of their former. Their sound, though different, retains a uniqueness that matches the band. Its happy and melancholic; Optimistic while realistic. I’ve had it on repeat since the moment I discovered it. They’ve found a beautiful way to express life and their emotions. I appreciate this album so much.

It's been a year since it was released, but I still can't get enough. In my opinion it's the best album they've released. Can't wait for the next!

It is what it is. Pop music. They could be a very successful Third Eye Blind cover band. Don't get me wrong being, the music is fine it just isn't very creative or original.
  • Didn't think it was possible…

Having grown up as the same age as the band members and following the Maine throughout their entire discography, I never imagined that they could make an album that transcends every other piece of art they have recorded up until now. Nevertheless, here it is! This album is relatable, emotional and true; easily the most influential piece they've ever released. My one and only gripe is that the album is far too short; I want more! Then again, it's impossible to bottle too much of perfection at once.

The Maine, yet again, is pulling through on their music. Another great album, which has some really great songs and great talent. My two favorite songs are probably, "Black Butterflies and Deja Vu" and "Taxi". So glad I went ahead and purchased the full album! Keep it up! Hoping to see The Maine live one of these days soon!! One of my favorite bands!

In a time when music at your fingers tips and you can skip songs like a blink of an eye . I'm truly amazed what this band has put together on this album. It's honestly, an amazing ride of emotions that Many have encountered but can't explain . If this album doesn't remind you or someone or a time In your life, then listen more. The MAINE congrats on accomplishing true art as musicians. You really captured a timeless album that will forever be embedded in all your listeners.
