  • Why oh why?

First of all, it's hilarious that this is classified as rap/hip-hop in parts of iTunes. This is a fun little album with lots of 80s flair, but what I really want to know is WHAT WILL IT TAKE to get Men Without Hats albums added here (or Amazon, for that matter)? You can buy the CDs elsewhere, but they aren't in mp3 format (legally) anywhere. What's up with that?
  • I LOVE this album, but it's NOT rap or hip-hop

This album has it's rapping moments, which, in time, grew on me. This album has a great sound, and definitely has elements of Ivan's 80's New Wave roots (he was the lead singer of Men Without Hats - Remember the Satefy Dance?). I love his deep voice, seldom heard in the land of pop star tenors that we live in. It's one of my favorite albums of all time. Check out the sound clips and give this album a try. If you liked Men Without Hats, I doubt you'll be disappointed - this album just moves to the next level. It's sexy (the song "You" especially), fun (in the discoesque "1972"), and delightful and optomistic (in my favorite song on the album, the New Wave fun of "Forever"). I really hope to hear more from Ivan in the future. Give this album a try!
