Here, 2016 is the best song on the album. It speaks purpose into the overlooked and burdened people of the world. The album as a whole has a great message, but Here is the best song.

I highly recommend The Narrative. I discovered the song, Here, at church one Sunday and listened to the remaining songs online. I am definitely a supporter of Sho Baraka and I hope to hear more intentional and beautiful music from him.
  • Pretty good, but some wrong views

Sho Baraka is a great rapper, but this album somehow ended up disappointing me. He used some vulgar language, which when pointed out, he lashed out on social media towards those people. Also, there is some messed up political views on My Hood USA which should be taken into account. Otherwise than those two hiccups, this album is solid and a must listen by all. I love the jazz rap, and he has some really good messages on here. Just be weary of some of the content.

Sho has created a masterpiece. The album is a complexed bit of brilliance delivered honestly & simplistically over live instruments. If you're a fan of genuine faith mixed with ingenuity and artistry; it's worth the investment.

This is very good music from Sho! Here, 2016 is very good and upbeat, Fathers, 2004 is sweet and kind of sad while Excellent, 2017 is just crazy with its sharp verses, good beats, and a funky/offbeat tune!

Solid instrumentation. Fresh innovative musical fusion and pursuit. Poignant, relevant, necessary topics. This album competes extremely strong in the realm of hip-hop as a whole. Buy it, you won't be disappointed and you are supporting a solid, God-fearing, people loving brother.

Very good. Very Mature. Hot tracks, Insightful, In-cite-ful lyrics. Just good to have. Another reason to LOVE Christian Rap. It keeps the genre relevant. RELEVANT. The older guys & gals keep going and show their age WELL, with wisdom, understanding, creativity, humility and truth. I feel you all have be come EVEN MORE Approachable. THIS about one who was all along! wow. i had to listen. just to let you know. I'm loving this. as the song from the OGG's goes... "Go on.."
