The programming of the music, the variety of guest artists, the recording quality, the arrangements, the professionalism and sensitivity of the choir and orchestra, the memorable story of how Messiah came to be, the spirit that comes through--even on the recording. Hallelujah! On some recordings it is hard to hear the choir over the orchestra. They have fixed that here and I am very happy about that.
