My ears are bleeding

HOW did she become famous? She sounds like a wet fart after eating some tacos mixed with a toddler who’s having a meltdown in a store. And this album, this album would be good as a table leveler or something. Maybe as a firestarter. I’ve heard better noise come out of my own body than on this “record”. Smh
Love this album

It's not for everyone at all but if you're in to avant-garde weirdness, this is right up your alley.

She changes the whole definition of rock, now it's screaming like crazy, no offense but, how did she get 3 1/2 stars on the whole rating of this album...One of her songs should be "I Sing Like Trash"
Madness & Modernism as "art"

It's "great" if you are a self-destructive, nihilistic, humorless drag act & serial adulterer, trying to punish western civilization - wholesale!... For not executing flawlessly in every respect, all the time, every time for the last 500(+/-) years! Good job - Good Choices - Plastic Ono "Band".
Not for everyone

Yoko Ono's acclaimed debut is one of the defining records of what would later become Punk and New Wave with many of the genre's pioneering artists (such as the B-52s) referring to her as a major influence in the development of their sound. That being said, this isn't for everyone. Majority of the album is screaming and there are few lyrics. The album is best when viewed as an avant garde jam session, like Yoko Ono's primal scream therapy set to some impressive backing music.
WOW

I couldn't even get past 5 seconds of the first two songs she "Screams, Cries" in? How can this possibly be "Popular"???

To me Yoko had/has no musical talent at all...everything with HER in it Lennon did I avoid....who really thinks this or ANYTHING she has ever done to be "music"....disliked her from day one, from the musical perspective....
