Soulful album that challenges the convention of genre in the best way possible. Love it.

Days after listening to the album I still find myself humming Mold Breakers and Moving On. The thoughtfulness of the lyrics throughout the album is impressive, particularly for something so catching. Thumbs up and toes tapping.

Jay has mastered the ability to take his listeners on a journey in every single song. With Locked he has captured honest experiences, feelings, and thoughts in his lyrics. Combining that with his killer vocals, he has managed to create one hell of a record. Well done!

A great album full of raw emotion and riddled with talent. Jay is a true singer/songwriter and is an authentic artist through and through. A must listen for all!

Anyone who has listened to Jay knows how amazing of a song-writer he is. This new album is a phenomenal next step in his progression as a singer and song-writer, and an album I will enjoy for years to come. It's always encouraging seeing artists like Jay succeed while writing songs filled with inspirational lyrics. It's rare amongst today's music scene, and Jay stands out amongst the crowd. Can't wait to see where this album takes him!

This is probably my new favorite Jay Denton album. I tend to like Denton's slower, lighter, more playful numbers (such as an old favorite "You Could Be"), but I am digging some of the more hard-driving numbers on this new album, such as "On Down (Reprise)". However, my favorite tracks is probably "If I'm Honest". Denton pours his heart and soul into every album and every song. This album is definitely worth listening to and purchasing.

The craftsmanship and storytelling throughout this album is a journey that you MUST take! Well done!

Jays music is way beyond the average singer songwriter. This album expresses something tonally different than previous releases. Really impressive album and songwriting. Definitely up there with the big Nashville indie names. Ala Ben Rector, Matt Wertz, with a touch of Brandi Carlisle.

It’s rare for an independent artist to put out a full length album anymore, but Jay Denton isn’t going to let the world of “singles and EPs" stop him. The songs on “Locked” are from Jay’s heart and soul and tell an artist's story of perseverance, love, and the constant ups and downs that come with “Growing Up” (one of my favorite tracks from the album). Raw, authentic storytelling and catchy, beautiful melodies - you gotta check it out!

Great album. I love Jay Denton's music. I have been a fan for years. Jay is such a gifted and talented singer/songwriter. Amazing!
