I recently saw Zo! Speak at a screening of his documentary Making SkyBreak. During the Q&A he spoke about a song by Prince that gave him goosebumps. That is how I feel when I listen to this album. Straight fire πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯. My favorite is Lifelines featuring Dornik. If you never heard of Dornik get familiar real quick. I thank Zo! and Phonte for getting him to sing on this album. Zo! all I can say is you did it again. Congratulations!!!!

Every track is great! I think my favorite might be "Wishing You Well," that bassline is SICK! Great job, Zo!

Had the opportunity to go to the listening party in Maryland. CD has been on repeat since. πŸ‘πŸ½ For the person that enjoys chill laid back R and B this is for you.

I,m sorry but this latest CD is too discotized (if you would). It's a departure from always rhythmic (sometimes broken) beats and well improvised bridges. The music is now having a "droning" effect. This is also true of the new Foreign Exchange CD. Phontigga, take it back to where it was. I would say to artists like Robert Glasper, Clara Hill, Dapp Theory, Christian Scott, Taylor Mcferrin, Bill Laurence and Conya doss...............you are safe for now.
  • Just...ridiculous.

It's like the final piece of a great trilogy. From Nicolay's "Soweto" to Foreign Exchange's "Land of Milk and Honey", Zo!'s SkyBreak finishes things off in the same upbeat, rhythmic soulful sound of the previous two- it's an album that weaves in everything you want from his genius production skills. I couldn't be happier with this. On eternal repeat.
