A lot of alternative artists seem to be crossing-over into electronic, and Iiris manages to do it seamlessly. Each song is like a kaleidoscope of sounds with Iiris's delicate, high pitched vocals piercing and weaving through each melody. The magic is certainly not lost with the shimmering chorus in "Iridescent Love", the native sounds of "Continuum IX", the slow beats in "Hope", or the absolutely gorgeous (and way too short) ballad "Utrecht." Though each song individually may not be as memorable or unique as some of Iiris's older work, it's refreshing to see her experimenting with a new sound. It'll be interesting to see what direction Iiris will take with her newer music. I have high hopes for what is in store. 3.5/ 5 stars
