Royce Stays True to His Voice

Royce has been droppin hard tracks since the early 90s and his voice remains true throughout his first released album all the way through to "Layers" - sometimes I can usually flow along with most of my favorite MCs, but with Royce, he has a delivery so full of quality content - I can't even barely comprehend his level of flow , I can't keep up with this true lyricist. One of the comments I just read was claiming that the rap game right now is lacking substance and this claim is absolutely the Truth! As an 80s baby, I grew up with real-rhymers, nowadays, I cant believe some of these rappers even have careers. This is the same exact reason why YOU MUST respect Royce da 5'9"as he may be one of 5-7 true lyricists still active. YOu know what I wanna see? Bad Meets Evil one the same track as Runt The Jewels - Feel free to agreetwith the suggestion, b/c honestly, how dope would that be? It just so happens that RTJ is around my age too. The only real lyricists spitting w/purpose, substance and appealing material that reminds you why the Hip HOp game at the moment is in a state of transition. It better be or else its gonna fizzle out. Even some of the newer Stars I've become fans of have recently released some albums that have just been so diappointing - ya know, the "rappers" find them selves with some loot in the bank (proud for them) then again, they suddenly turn into Pop-Stars and start singing like their some pioneer of crossing over musically to the, far-from paralell genre known as R&B. Yet, Royce da 5'9" never retreats the character of his rap persona, how does he do it? He's not a fake Dr.Seus Emcee, he's real. He's honest and he stays true to his promise. TO keep fighting even if its a struggle, he's gonna keep moving forward, he's gonna overcome the pitfalls of the American system -after all, isn't that how hip hop was established? By storytelling and rhyming on the block about their experiences living in poverty and how no matter how painful it was, we still have this special form of channeling frustration & ambition simultaneously, but creatively. Much repect to Bad Half Entertainment, Shady Records 1.0 to 3.0, Slaughterhouse and for just being real true lyricists that stll provide hope for the fans who will understand what is being communicated in this post.

Royce da 5'9" has always been a master lyricist! At the age of 39 he continues to show his creativity honoring hip hop with top quality bars and rhymes. Tabernacle is real, raw, and refreshing for anyone who is a fan of the art. Detroit stand up!

I prefer not to have the whole world know about this man's genius and I'm sure he's fine with it too. Goes to show you how twisted the world is when people flock to the garbage and sleep on the real.

As a fan of Royce I have been there since the beginning of his mainstream career. Death Is Certain is still
My favorite album. Success is Certain next! My point is when you have this much talent you develop lifetime fans. Most of the artist today to me are here today and gone tomorrow. This is truly a good album and I would recommend it to anyone who still wants to hear REAL hiphop music.
Best hip hop project of 2016 so far

Excellent lyrics, very unique and interesting flow, there's not a boring song on this album (except for shine, which isn't bad just kind of kills the flow of the album, but makes up for it in the next song). Amazing 9.5/10 album.
Great

I bought too many songs on this by accident. I wish they'd raise the price by like $2 so I could complete the album for 3 dollars instead of 10.
