The beats are decent (although pretty generic and we've all heard this kind of music before), but the performance is pretty basic and average. This guy isn't exactly great at anything, which makes it hard to place this in either rap or r&b since he doesn't have the lyrics and skills to be a rapper or the range and voice to be a serious singer. He's just there, but mostly the beats do the work. Good artists make good production better and more worth listening to, while an artist like this needs the production to fall back on. He's honestly not too different than Fetty Wap, another artist who isn't good enough at rapping or singing to be labeled either.
