  • Masterpiece from Start to Finish

I had never listened to this album from start to finish. Listening to Relayer on vinyl and lifting the needle to flip to side B would be absolutely intrusive to the music as it’s meant to be heard. That being said, Relayer is a musical masterpiece far ahead of its time.

The cover is great, possibly my most favorite Yes album cover. I could never get into the music, though, no matter how many times I have listened to it. I certainly respect what they are doing here and the whole band really play up a storm. I just don’t find the music that enjoyable or memorable.

I AM STILL WAITING FOR MAGNIFICATION AND THE 2011 ALBUM FLY FROM HERE. I ENJOY BOTH ALBUMS , COMPARED TO THIS OBNOXIOUS, ANNOYING, HAMMER THROWING, OVERRATED ALBUM. GATES OF DELIRIUM AND SOUND CHASER ARE HEADACHES, AND NOT TO FORGET PLEASE BE OVER.......
  • The Worst Yes Album Ever!

Not in the same league as The Yes Album, Fragile or Close to the Edge. Drones on too long as did Tales.
  • I forgot how good this album is....

Put this on, preferably the turntable, sip a glass of wine and just chill. This is one of Yes' best album, all three songs are great and include a number of interesting transitions and riffs...all good.

I am a millenial that by no stretch of the imagination should have no reason to have ever heard this album, but thanfully my dad shared it with me as a teenager in 2001. I dont know how to express my love for this album, but it has spent many years on my iPod and headphones. There are some amazing feelings that come from this album and the vocals. I would highly encourage anyone who has some interest in the progression of Yes to take some time to listen to this album. It really is magic!

This album in my opinion is probably their best (after Close to the Edge, of course). "The Gates of Delirium" is fantastic, and "Sound Chaser" and "To Be Over" are both also great. Definitely a fresh return to form after the confusing disaster that was Tales from Topographic Oceans.
