Ah yes, Yes! This album did justice to the anticipation of waiting for a’90125’ sequel. I joined the US Army that year and bought the album. Brings me back some nice memories of Ft. Bragg, NC

Easily my least favorite Yes cover. Good songs, though. Rhythm Of Love is my favorite song. Overall, not a bad Yes album, but it’s no 90125.

When I first listened to this album, I was like “meh, it’s okay.” But I listened to the whole thing and I was like “Wow, these are good!” Rhythm of Love- it’s a solid radio track plus it is awesome for an 80s party- 9/10 Big generator- A kinda heavy track that’s good. (And kinda forgettable)- 6.5/10 Shoot high aim low- Very underrated track. It’s it’s own masterpiece- 9.5/10 Almost like love- also a kinda heavy track, but i think I prefer this Over title track- 7/10 Love will find a way- this song is great for the radio (and nothing much else.) Sorry, but I prefer Rhythm of love- 7/10 Final eyes- pretty forgettable- 6/10 I’m running- solid long track- 7/10 Holy lamb- An ending.- 8/10 Highs: Rhythm of Love, Shoot high aim low. Lows: final eyes So, that’s my opinion. What’s yours? Btw I’m looking forward to getting the cassette version of BIG

This is an average album. I think they lost a lot of momentum by not making a follow-up to 90125 in '84 or '85. Shoot High Aim Low is the best here.
  • Highly Underrated

Definitely doesn't have the same feel as 90125, but that doesn't mean to take away from how great this album is. Has a great vibe and energy of its own. More experimental. Shoot High, Aim Low one of the best songs Yes has ever done, the well known Love Will Find A Way and Rhythm of Love great as well. Awesome album top to bottom!
  • As always...amazing!

If you're a fan of Yes's 90125 album, you'll love Big Generator. When Trevor Rabin joined the band, their chemistry really brought out the best in all of the band members. I enjoyed it in its entirety.
  • An interesting follow up

After the massive success of 90125, Yes was in another circumstance to produce an effective follow up. After their tour, Yes returned immediately to the studio. However, it would take 4 years to release a follow up after going through different producers and studios around the world. When this was released, it right away did not meet the success of 90125. It did produce a couple hits like "Rhythm of Love" and "Love Will Find a Way", but they were a bit of a rock departure, as was most of the album. It is a great album to have in the collection, as it does have some great songs.
  • Finally remastered...
