Their music keeps evolving. It gets better and better because of the constant hustle and dedication to their craft. Al Azar comes hard with the rhymes as does Malakai and wow Bij always comes with the fire! These guys have been trending up since they came together. I recommend the purchase along with the download of their mixtapes from their website!

Seventeen Eleven is a classic Ground Up album genuinely tackling the usual themes: love/ women, friendship/ family, money/ success. It’s a great recovery from the disaster that was Promiseland. The tracks don’t flow as well as The Get Up or Supernatural from one to the next, though the schizophrenic feel of the front half seems to be what the artist targeted. From “Balance” knocking you on your back to the banger “Let’s Ride” and the more subtle “Real Life,” Seventeen Eleven is Ground Up at its best – with a little experimentalism thrown in for their more adventurous listeners. Five stars!

First off bij is a god, laying down beautiful tracks for azar and malachi to slay with their unique styles that we ground up fans love. This is another brilliant piece of work

This has got to be Ground Up's best work yet! don’t wait to pick this one up.
