Where is the title track? I heard him play it in concert in Minneapolis. I know it's out there somewhere. Love the rest of this gem, though.

Just messing!!! Everyone knows who Harry Connick Junior is. However; I knew him more as the actor which I thought was awesome and I knew of his music. However this is the first Harry Connick Junior album I've ever purchases and I'm asking myself "where is this guy been this is freaking awesome" or should I ask where have I been?? LoL!!!

She is my favorite Harry Connick, Jr. album. The follow up to She, Star Turtle, continued with the same hybrid of New Orleans flavored R&B, funk, jazz, and rock, and I really enjoyed that album as well. Finally, almost 20 years later, he records an album with the same vibe found on those exceptional albums with a touch of 21st century pop. So, now my Harry Connick, Jr. collection expands to 3 albums. I’ll gladly keep buying his albums if he keeps exploring this sound. As much as I dig his voice, I’m just not a fan of big band or soft jazz. Plus, I think his songwriting is better on more energetic music.

I was very pleased to hear this album and hear Harry departing musical styles a bit. He’s an incredibly diverse musician, and those reviewers who are wanting a blast back to lounge singer Harry simply do not know how to appreciate his fantastic diversity. As a musician myself I can say it is extremely boring to keep doing the same thing. I’m thrilled to hear him adding some more sounds to this album which is very well done. I remember when Star Turtle and She came out and I thought it was strange, but now that he has a full career behind him they all make sense and this one does as well. It’s a great album, some very good songs and some nice production to boot. Kudos to Connick for keeping the progress going!

I have a full HCJr shelf. This one... just not doing it for me. Has his time on American Idol turned him into Colbie Caillat? yechhh. I might pull a couple songs off and drop the rest from my library. A lot of bland pop drivel. Now I have a headache.

So I consider myself a Huge fan of HCJ. I've been hooked ever since 1989. I've loved almost everything that he's done musically; even those things that were a little off the beaten path such as "She" and "Start Turtle". I want my $10.99 back!!! All the tracks sounded almost exactly the same. I feel alienated after these past two albums. Who am I to suggest what you should and shouldn't do.......but I think you'd make a lot of fans happy if your next album was a little closer to what we fell in love with in the first place. I don't think Ellis would be happy with this one. I'll buy the next one however as I am a fan 'til the end. I just sadly am having to play more of the older albums to hear what I think HCJ is really all about.

I love you, Harry. But this album is just completely lacking your musicality and dynamic style. Crap music, poorly produced. Thumbs down.
