As an avid fan and loved of the band since they began back as shabutie, this album breaks my heart. 90% of these songs should have been Prize Fighter Inferno songs and never dared been placed under the banner of Co&Ca. The songs seem lazy and lack the hooks, power and technicality of previous efforts. Boo this album but I still await their next release.

I love this new album! I am saying this as a long time fan. It is a refreshing sound and reminds me mostly of their first album second stage turbine. I love when bands explore new sounds and step out of there comfort zone. Coheed had achieved this while maintaining the story telling in their music that has captivated many fans. Great effort Coheed!

Long time fan since IKSoSEII, and I’ve enjoyed everything the CoCa has churned out. This album is among one of their fine works. I love the diversity Coheed always seems to pull off so well. I must say having Josh back on the drums is great! “Hater’s goin’ hate and ain’ters goin’ to ain’t."

These guys are good in their own musical way . I personally have been a fan of their music not knowing it and now I know it's real love for Coheed and Cambria . Not like the rest yet their lyrics portray history while it still reflect today's world ! Much rock and love ! Love this album so much !

I was bitter when I found out this album wouldn't be about The Amory Wars. But now it's my favorite Coheed album.
  • Lacking spirit.

I've been a fan of Coheed for years, and needless to say I've enjoyed every single album they've put out. But this one just isn't Coheed and Cambria to me. I appreciate the music and change of pace, but this sounds like a lackluster side project compared to the rest of their discography. I'm amazingly disappointed and hope they come come out with some sort of redemption album sooner rather than later.
