Once again Anjunadeep has released a DJ mix album with many of the composite tracks cut short instead of providing the full unmixed tracks. And again this will most likely require the release of a separate "Unmixed & DJ Ready" version. It's just all so pointless when they could have just released one version with the full tracks. Some people can't be told anything and must make mistakes on their own to learn. Other people can't even learn from their own mistakes.

On the third listen and keeps getting better and better. James Grant and Jody are a stellar combination. Beautiful textures, flawless mixing, music doesn't get any better than this.

Having purchased all the releases of this series, and the unmixed collections, this is the first one that doesn’t have me excited to play it over and over again. There are a few stand out tracks, but after two full listens I’m wondering what direction Anjunadeep is going to be taking over the next year. Perhaps A&B are saving some of the best Deep tracks for opening their next Anjunabeats collection like they did last time? I haven’t lost faith, god no (after all, I LOVE 16 Bit’s ’Not the only one’), but hoping 8 makes me want to get in the car at night and get lost for hours again like previous collections.

overall this is a great album but I'm giving 4 stars because of the garbage filler songs they put in like glass voices, never have never will go slow exc.. never will i listen to those i deleted them there so bad but over all its not .

This compilation was realeased 4 months ahead of schedule and it shows. This was not as well thought out as the previous legendary mixes. I had high expectations for this compilation becauce its potential to fill you with inspiration that makes you want to dance. When you touch a persons' soul and make them so happy thay want to Dance, now that is deep. The music in 07 was well produced but it is very slow, sad, and has a few sloppy tranzitions in between tracks. Jodys' tracks are golden, so were Oliver Smiths' (Meremak), thank you for that. Otherwise I will not be listening to 07 that much because it makes me very sad and you forgot to make us dance. ITS YOUR JOB TO INSPIRE US TO DANCE FOR LIFE!
Very depressing and not uplifting. Not chill either.

There are 2 tracks on this album that are ok at best the rest of them are incredibly unexciting, I would listen to this album if I were contemplating suicide. Jody usually has some sick mixes too :/

I love this album. The songs are well written, the vocals elegant, the mix carries an eccentric flow throughout. This is the perfect example of well written and produced music combined with a fantastic DJ set. The best of both worlds. This “genre” that most call Deep House may never make it to main room DJ sets, but the music is timeless and will always stand up to everything else out there, even 20 years from now.
