I remember pushing sickness to all my Army friends in 2000. Then the world fell apart and the war on terrorism ensued when this album came out. It took a few spins to fully appreciate this gem of an album, both lyrically and musically. Now it is my go to Disturbed album.

Easily the pinnacle of Disturbed's work in both meaning and execution. An excellent blend of the gruff with melodic vocals, paired with the unique guitar riffs and stylings that define the band. It's like they took the success of the Sickness and developed it into a more expressive and versatile album. That's not even to mention the layers of philosophical implications and genuine meaning in virtually every song, but of course it's not necessary to recognize those just to enjoy the album in itself. Try it out; if you don't like it, well...liberate your mind.

My first Disturbed album that turned me onto this terrific band. Love it all, every song!!
