I 'm not sure what everyone is whinig about, after all it was 1979. All in all it is Richie Blackmore. This is truly one of his greatest albums and they are releasing it in full " LIVE" form. I saw Deep Purple, Rainbow, the reunion of Deep Purple at the House of Blues. everytime I saw them they were great. And this musical set just puts you on a musical journey. Enjoy.
  • Bad sound… too bad.

One thing is for sure, you can’t say this was overdubbed in the studio. The audio sound is horrible, as if it was recorded from the corridors rather than inside the arena. It’s too bad, as this was a great band, no matter who was fronting it. This would have been rated higher had the sound been decent. Would love to see a reunion with RB, Joe Lynn Turner (v), Don Airey (keys), Bobby Ronnielli (dr), Bob Daisley (b),

Yes the quality is bad, but and its a stretch it captures the raw nature of Graham's voice and sends me back to 1979 when I saw Rainbow at Wembley Arena and I actually like it. The band was going through turmoil after Dio quit, the music direction changed to top 20, Cozy Powell left shortly after the tour finished and Ritchie one of the greatest axeman of all time was being himself and destroying all around him.
  • ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AUDIO QUALITY!!!

I can’t believe this was released. It sounds like an old worn out cassette recording done by an amateur. Too bad. Love Rainbow but this is an atrocity.
  • Overspill sound from those old foam earphones

Ritchie Blackmore, Graham Bonnet and the band ought to be upset with this release. Did live recording technology regress after Ronnie ? I'm so disappointed, I love the track selections, finally Bonnet!!!!!! but the sound quality is like the overspill from a Sony Walkman. Sorry guys.
